Well, Lucy does not have enough hair yet to be a bowhead (and oh just wait, because she will be!), but it does not mean we can't have them on our shoulders. I love this little outfit and Lucy did too. The bows were untied and soaking wet in 5 minutes after putting it on her.
So, during her afternoon nap, I unstitched the ribbons and lowered the buttons (so we could wear it a little bit longer). I can always tie the ribbons through the button holes if we really want them back on. It is still cute even without the bows!!
