First Beach Trip

Lucy is a total beach bum!!!

She loved the pool, the sand, and the ocean water splashing in her face.

We learned though from this trip that a baby who still takes 2 naps a day is not the ideal to take to the beach and that having a hotel room with a big enough bathroom to hold a pack n play is key (unfortunately, we did not have one). So, when Lucy went to bed, we did too. There was lots of sleeping, reading, and quiet time at the beach.

We still had a wonderfully relaxing (well, as relaxing as it can be with an 11month old) time at our resort. Lucy is not much for lounging though. She is always moving.

But it does show Lucy getting familiar with the sand. And as you can see below, it did not take long for her to fall in love with it.

She really loved the sand, so much so that she would take handfuls of it and shove it in her mouth. YUCK!!!

This picture just sums it up!!! What a happy little girl. I can't wait to take her back.
